Why now

Weeks of heavy rain have flooded villages across the region. Thousands of families have left their homes with only what they could carry, and markets are closed.

Our local partner is packing and handing out food parcels every day from three distribution points, and needs more stock to keep going.

What a parcel holds

  • Rice, lentils and flour

  • Cooking oil, sugar and salt

  • Tinned fish and dates

  • A hygiene pack

This is demo content on a staging site. The people and places in it are made up.

Where your money goes

Gifts buy food locally, pay for transport to the distribution points and cover the partner's volunteers' costs. Anything left when the emergency ends goes to the region's recovery.

Questions

How quickly do the parcels reach families?

Our partner hands out parcels within a week of each transfer, from stock bought locally.

Can I give every month?

Yes. Monthly gifts let our partner plan deliveries for as long as the crisis lasts.
